Witches Take Flight Tuesday, October 28 starting 5:30pm

Join us for the Witches Take Flight on Tuesday, October 28! This free, 8-mile night ride and post ride gathering will take place on the trails along the Iowa River, looping around Terry Trueblood Park and returning via the river trail. The ride is open to all, but registration is required.

Bring a snack/dish to share if you want. Drinks provided.

Check-in is from 5:30-5:50 PM at the Bike Library, with opening remarks at 5:50pm and the ride kicking off at 6:00 PM. The ride will end around 7:00 PM back at the Bike Library, where we'll enjoy poetry, refreshments, music, singing, and a cozy gathering.

A coven of bike riding poets (Jennifer Macbain-Stephens, Kashelle Lockman, Cory Hutchinson- Reuss, Rachael McPherson, Adrienne Rose, Margaret Yapp, and Lizzie Cusick) will provide entertainment during and after the ride!

Lighted bike decorating and safe costumes encouraged. Helmets and bike light are required! Please make sure you have a front headlamp and a back blinking light.
